As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Articles submitted to the journal must be original and should not have been previously published or be in the process of being considered for publication elsewhere. Articles should average between 5,000 and 9,000 words (excluding footnotes) in length. Case analyses should be between 1,500 and 2,500 words; comments/notes should not exceed 3,000 words and book reviews should be between 500 and 1,500 words. The Journal shall be published twice yearly (June & December). This will be both in hard copies and online versions. All contributions should be submitted in Word document and should follow the MLA Style. Only manuscripts that comply with the submission guidelines will be considered for peer review.

 

Peer Review Statement, Ethics and Administration 

All articles and manuscripts submitted to the journal will undergo rigorous peer review processes based on the reports of two anonymous reviewers. The journal also has zero tolerance for plagiarism.
